National Trails Day

On June 2, 2018 join us for the 9th annual National Trails Day event, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.. Volunteers will meet at the Big Bear Discovery Center at 9:00 a.m., and work on the popular Cougar Crest Trail. The Discovery Center is located at  40971 North Shore Drive/Hwy 38, Fawnskin, CA 92333 on the Noth Shore of Big Bear Lake. Trail work will focus on the lower portion of the trail that has been greatly widened by trail use and is in need of construction of proper drainanges, small realignments, and trash clean up. Volunteers will be helping with this effort!

Registered participants will be provided with a free BBQ lunch and beer (21 and over) at the Discovery Center amphitheater from 12:00 noon – 1 p.m.. Space is limited so register now for this free event to secure your place on the trail, free lunch and beer, and a complimentary raffle ticket (option to purchase addition tickets) for awesome prizes! Raffle items provided by the incredible Kodiak 100 Ultra Marathon!
